Lititz Home Educators [LHE]
- Vicki Wilson,
Chris FreemanLHE is a group of homeschooling families in the Lititz area. We are predominately Christians, who have joined together to support one another and coordinate a wide variety of activities as we educate our children at home. We do not require a signed statement of faith for membership, yet our group is founded on Jesus’ example of servant hood. We are not a co-op, and therefore we do not have a central facility or regularly scheduled meeting times. We do not guarantee classes, activities, or services. Rather, each year we accomplish what our moms/families are willing to initiate and do, to serve everyone. Every member is required to lead or assist in at least one activity per year. In addition, every member is required to participate in or attend at least one activity each year. (Naturally exceptions will be made for extreme or unforeseen circumstances.) You will be expected to commit to your volunteer service at the time of your registration, and you will be networked with others who have similar interests. We are loosely organized under a volunteer board, which anyone may gladly join. New ideas are highly coveted as well! Registration deadline is May 21st for returning members. New families are always welcome.
