The
Scrawls is a newsletter published by CHALC. It contains
news of interest to the Lancaster homeschooling
community, such as upcoming events, classes being
offered, items for sale, and local homeschool evaluators,
and more. A year's subscription to the Scrawls is
included with a CHALC membership, but can also be
purchased separately.
"How do I obtain the CHALC newsletter, the
Scrawls?"
Support
Group members will receive the Scrawls with their paid
membership fee. If you are not part of a CHALC support
group, you may become a subscriber to the newsletter but
will not be considered a member.

subscribe, please send a $15.00 check along with the
printable subscription form below to:

If your
check is received by the 15th of the month, you will be
included in the database to receive the next month's
newsletter. Please note that the subscription fee has
gone up to $15.
All (paid)
advertisements need to be received in "camera ready"
condition by the 8th of preceding month. If you wish for us to
design the ad, the infomation must be recieved by the 6th, and there
will be a nominal $5 fee. Any advertisement inquiries should

Ads can be
submitted via email or snail mail. Pencil ads and
drawings will not be accepted as camera ready.
Activities
of general interest to homeschoolers, your support group
events, and education-related items for sale are welcomed
for free publication in the Scrawls. Tell us about
an interesting field trip you've taken recently. Submit a
helpful educational web address. Share your suggestions
and encouragement for homeschoolers, as well as stories
from your own experience. We love to hear from you! Have
any ideas? Email the editor at scrawls@chalc.org.

Due to the
possibility of error, submissions will not be
taken over the phone. Items must be received no later
than the 10th of the month.
Items will
not be carried to the next month; you will need to
resubmit the item if you wish for it to be published
multiple times. We reserve the right to edit and/or
refuse any submissions. Unfortunately, due to space
constraints, not all submissions can be
published.
